Do you see examples of disrespect every day in your community? Do you know someone who has experienced abuse—one out of every three teens does. Do you want to be paid to be a leader in helping Cambridge creates positive and respectful teen relationships? Come join the Youth Action Corps, and be a part of a fun, all-teen team to teach your community about safe, respectful and healthy relationships!

The Youth Action Corps (YAC) is a paid job. Teens who become part of the YAC will earn $8/hr working about 20 hours per week from Monday, July 1st, through Friday, August 9th.

How can you apply?

Applications are due by April 20, 2013. Here's how can you apply:

  1. Complete the Youth Action Corps employment application by clicking the link on the right side of this page. When complete, click "Submit". Applications are due by April 20, 2013.
  2. Don't forget to complete a separate application for the Mayor's Program, available April 23rd and due no later than May 10th. Request "Youth Action Corps" as your preferred site.
  3. Be prepared for an interview on either Wednesday, April 24th or Monday, April 29th after school.
